Employment

  The first 2 months we will be checking to see if you have done any of the trainings listed below, if you fail to complete trainings within the time frame your hours will be cut until completed. On the 3rd month if not completed you will be required to complete your DCF Trainings or the Health & Safety modules for the School Readiness Program. You will only have 90 days to complete your trainings, if you fail to complete trainings, we will be forced to let you go.

Before you can start to work for A.J.’s Angels with passing test

· Early Literacy for Children Age Birth – Three (ELC) 5 hrs.

Within the first 5 days of employment with passing test

· Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect (CAAN) 4 hrs.

Within the first 30 days of employment with passing test

· Childcare Facility Rules & Regulations (FACR) 6 hrs.

· Behavioral Observation and Screening (BOAS) 6 hrs.

Within the first 45 days of employment with passing test

· Child Growth and Development (CGAD) 6 hrs.

· Health, Safety and Nutrition (HSAN) 8 hrs.

Within the first 60 days of employment with passing test

· Basic Guidance and Discipline (BGD) 5 hrs.

· Understanding Developmentally Appropriate Practices (UDAP) 5 hrs.

· One of the Appropriate Practices

•  Infant and Toddler Appropriate Practices (ITAP) 5 hrs.
•  Preschool Appropriate Practices (PSAP) 5 hrs.
•  School-Age-Appropriate Practices (SAAP) 5 hrs.
•  Special Needs Appropriate Practices (SNP) 10 hrs.
